January 2000: we saw Buzenac-bas and it was love at first sight. But there was some work to do to transform it into the wonderful holiday centre it is now.

Because Buzenac-bas is situated on a hill it has excellent all round views. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet under the warm French sun.

A part of the terrain of about 1,7 ha. is a small 'aire naturelle de camping'.
Our wonderful old barn is the 'heart' of Buzenac-bas. On the covered terrace in front of it our 'table d'hôte' meals are served.
Inside the barn we have created a kitchen, a dining room and a studio in which we organise workshops.
Furthermore, the stables around the very nice old barn have been transformed into 'gîtes' and rooms.

(In case you would like to pass your holiday here we inform you that we can only accept payments in euros. We cannot accept credit cards.)

On the site we have a vegetable garden, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, and not to forget our cats and the two dogs Buzie (Dutch race) and Boris (border collie).
Your domestic animals are welcome, provided that they do not cause any problems.

When we bought it in 2000 it was almost a ruin and we have done all the renovation work ourselves, combining comfort with authentic elements. All this, combined with the quietness and the beautiful surroundings, makes Buzenac-bas a wonderful place to be.
